LUXE Interiors + Design is seeking a Sales Director to drive new business growth across New York City and key surrounding markets. This is a high-opportunity role focused on expanding LUXE’s presence in one of the most influential and competitive residential design markets in the country — with significant untapped upside across the luxury design, architecture, showroom, builder, and retail community.

The ideal candidate is highly relationship-oriented, entrepreneurial, and energized by the opportunity to open doors, develop strategic partnerships, and grow market share within a dynamic and deeply connected industry. This role requires strong presence, credibility, persistence, and the ability to represent a leading luxury media brand at the highest level.

About the Role

As Sales Director, you’ll be responsible for driving new revenue across LUXE’s integrated omnichannel platform, including print, digital, events, video, podcasts, social, and custom marketing programs designed to elevate our partners’ visibility with affluent consumers and the residential design trade. While account management and renewals are part of the role, the primary focus is identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities throughout the region.

This position reports to the Publisher of Greater New York.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across New York City and surrounding affluent design markets
  • Build strategic relationships with designers, architects, builders, developers, showrooms, luxury retailers, and emerging brands
  • Expand LUXE’s footprint and market share within a highly active and influential design community
  • Develop thoughtful, integrated sales strategies that align client objectives with LUXE’s multi-platform offerings
  • Create customized proposals across print, digital, events, video, podcasts, and experiential opportunities
  • Represent LUXE at industry events, showroom activations, networking functions, and key market gatherings
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective business through disciplined outreach, follow-up, CRM management, and forecasting
  • Partner closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and a high-level client experience

Qualifications

  • Must be based within easy access to New York City for regular in-person meetings, events, and client entertainment
  • Prior advertising sales experience required; experience within design, luxury, architecture, shelter, or related categories strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success in new business development and integrated media sales
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and CRM management skills
  • Existing relationships within the residential design or luxury market are a plus
