As the first design hire at this SF-based fintech startup, you will partner directly with the CTO to build institutional-grade AI credit and liquidity infrastructure. You\'ll own the end-to-end design process for a platform handling billions in order volume, transforming complex financial workflows into intuitive, high-quality user experiences.

What You Will Do

Lead design end-to-end across the platform, including product workflows, visual systems, and marketing materials for a modern trading marketplace.
Partner with founders to shape the product roadmap, translate complex data into clear interfaces, and write technical specifications for new features.
Drive features through the full lifecycle from initial prototype to production launch, coordinating directly with engineering to ensure high-fidelity releases.
The ideal candidate

Has 5+ years of product design experience, ideally at early-stage startups, with a portfolio demonstrating mastery in both UX and visual execution for data-heavy tools.
Possesses a "founder DNA" mindset, being comfortable defining problems, writing specs, and operating without a PM intermediary in a high-velocity environment.
Is highly proficient with modern AI design tools and prototypes quickly, with the ability to provide engineers with functional proofs-of-concept rather than static handoffs.
