Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering a Highly Satisfied Customer Experience demonstrated by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying our REACH (Remember Everyone Affects Customer Happiness) philosophy and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. Cross-trained in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.

Customer Experience: Role models REACH principles with customers; supports a positive store culture; promotes TJX Rewards credit and loyalty programs; supports and responds to Front End coverage as well as dressing room and jewelry needs.

Human Resources: Upholds a culture of honesty, integrity, and respect; communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates; accepts recognition and constructive feedback; adheres to labor laws and Associate meal and break period policies.

Store Operations: Maintains organizational cleanliness and recovery standards for the sales floor; participates in maintenance and cleanliness of the entire store (e.g., Single Queue, Associate Lounge); maintains floor care cleanliness standards and operates related equipment; processes and preps merchandise for the sales floor following Door to Floor and Working Smart principles; adheres to Front End policy and procedures including ringing sequence and operational controls (RIL, Voids, Refunds); balances register draws and/or cash office as required; ensures go backs are properly tagged, hung, and promptly returned to the sales floor.

Merchandising: Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy; adheres to signage standards; partners with Merchandise Coordinator to create and maintain features and flex the sales floor as needed; ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded; initiates and participates in store recovery as needed.

Loss Prevention & Safety: Supports shrink reduction goals and programs; adheres to operational and loss prevention controls; identifies and communicates alert signals and potential safety issues to management/loss prevention; does not engage in pursuit or apprehension of shoplifters; performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation
This position has a starting pay range of $14.00 to $14.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
