Job Summary

Responsible for all marketing and sales, installation and service of Kent Moore Cabinets, Ltd. custom‑built cabinetry within a region.
Responsibilities

Provide guidance, leadership and direction for all employees in the region.
Direct supervision of sales, service personnel, and office staff.
Work with HR staff for hiring, disciplining, and discharging.
Maintain gross profit in accordance with company goals.
Oversee all work performed by installers/subcontractors.
Approve installer pay and extra service pay.
Oversee accounts receivables and collections.
Establish and maintain customer relationships.
Make presentations to new customers.
Prospect, develop, and close leads for new accounts.
Grow sales with existing customers and acquire new customers.
Maintain an error rate of no more than 1% overall and less than 0.25% on work orders.
Maintain the company’s image to benefit KMC, employees, and customers.
Measure design, order, and schedule jobs as needed to support sales personnel.
Handle all necessary paperwork for office and builder books.
Ensure quality of work.
Maintain a safe work environment, enforce safety standards, and advance safety training.
Develop and implement training plans for new employees.
Walk jobs in the field to verify performance of personnel and products.
Maintain and improve employee morale.
Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor or corporate guidelines.
Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma.
In-depth knowledge of the construction industry.
Minimum 5 years in the cabinet business.
Computer knowledge and ability to learn cabinet programs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum 5 years of outside sales and customer service experience.
Ability to handle stressful situations and make correct judgment calls.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Essential Functions

Travel to and from customer locations to make sales visits.
Complete forms and other necessary paperwork.
Be aware of surroundings and location of items needed.
Perform various job duties, including listening to the needs of customers in person and over the telephone, and following guidance from managers and coworkers.
Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, subordinates, and customers both by phone and in person.
Stand and walk several hours or more per day; sit for several hours or more; lift and carry heavy objects as needed; bend, stretch, reach, and twist; use fingers to operate a telephone, writing implements, calculator, computer, tape measure, etc.; remain mentally alert and remember details.
Identify hazards immediately and correct or report them to prevent incidents.

Pushing up to 10lbs constantly; 10–25lbs frequently; 20–50lbs occasionally. Pulling: up to 10lbs constantly; 10–25lbs frequently; 20–50lbs occasionally. Lifting: up to 10lbs constantly; 10–25lbs frequently; 20–50lbs occasionally; up to 35lbs occasionally for patients or residents. Carrying: up to 10lbs constantly; 10–25lbs frequently; 20–50lbs occasionally.
Sensory (Medium):

Hearing: ability to detect a minimum amplitude of 65dB(A) at 3ft. Vision: corrected 20/40.
