Position Overview A full‑timeAccount Manager based in Montgomery, AL, who will lead a small‑to‑medium team delivering all client commitments within the Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) service line.
Responsibilities Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, and conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
Oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross‑train staff, and set and track staff and department deadlines.
Consult with sales professionals to define basic project requirements, investigate approaches to attain end results, and inform the organization of potential risks.
Assist with coordination of resources needed to service projects and build strategic operational plans.
Manage sales relationships with small‑to‑medium‑size clients and identify new sales opportunities.
Monitor service‑level performance to ensure client service levels are met and exceeded and present findings to senior management.
Prioritize open issues and tasks, working closely with both internal and client cross‑functional teams.
Serve as a key point of contact for project systems and processes, and manage client and project team expectations regarding scope of work.
Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence stakeholders to reach agreements.
Apply knowledge of own discipline to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex issues.
Qualifications Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3‑5 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
Ability to convey performance expectations and handle complex information.
Leadership skills to motivate team and impact quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the discipline and department.
In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
