Duration – 9+ Months Contract
Total Hours/week - 40.00

Client: Medical Device Company
Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only)
No H1B’s

Description:

Assignment is 6-9 months with a possible extension OR possible conversion to FTE

Responsibilities

· Building storyboards to conceptualize designs to accurately convey project plans and users’ needs.

· Supporting design research for various features; conduct, interpret, and summarize UX research, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to finalize findings.

· Translating ideas/research findings into use flows, wireframes, and interface designs that lead to intuitive user experience.

· Collaborating with team members and stakeholders on software UX deliverables and designs.

· Applying and updating Design System in order to ensure uniformity within the software engineering organization and solidify brand recognition with our customers.

· Creating user interface prototypes when necessary (optional depending on skillset).

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

· 5+ years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design.

· Understanding of user research techniques and how they can be applied to problem-solving.

· Understanding of the user-centered design process.

· Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

· Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate in HCI/design.

· Proficient with industry standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq, Adobe Creative Cloud).

· Portfolio to showcase your work.

Desired:

· Knowledge of immunology or other life sciences applications is a nice-to-have.

· Experience working with medical instruments or life science instruments is a plus.
