We are currently seeking a senior leader to enhance our Center of Excellence (CoE) capabilities and deepen expertise among three key stakeholder groups: the SpryPoint team, our growing system integrator ecosystem, and our clients. This role, reporting to our Chief Customer Officer, will oversee a team of 8‑10 individuals across two main areas: Learning & Development and Training & Enablement. You will step into an established organization and work on refining and scaling its operations to create best‑in‑class enablement excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and take ownership of the CoE strategy across internal teams, SI partners, and clients.
- Adjust the CoE roadmap through the lens of the customer journey, ensuring that enablement aligns with every stage of adoption, implementation, and expansion.
- Coordinate capability development across all stakeholder groups to deliver consistent, role‑based learning and lift performance.
- Design and advance SpryPoint's certification strategy for clients and SIs focused on scalability and long‑term growth.
- Implement structured training and methodologies that enhance delivery outcomes, utilization, and customer satisfaction.
- Evolve the CoE into a function contributing to value creation, potentially generating revenue through certification models over time.
- Ensure alignment with Client Solutions and broader Client Experience stakeholders to enhance delivery effectiveness and business outcomes.
- Maintain high‑level visibility, presenting strategy, progress, and impact to the ELT and Board.
Skills and Development
- Expand training programs that minimize ramp‑up time and enhance industry, product, and consultancy capabilities.
- Continuously refine methodologies, standards, and frameworks, including playbooks and quality guidelines.
- Identify performance gaps and design specific interventions for improvement.
Training, Certification & Enablement
This role oversees all structured learning, certification, and enablement programs for internal teams, SI partners, and clients, including:
- Providing strategic leadership and support for the L&D Manager as they scale up the Learning & Development team.
- Encouraging collaboration among L&D, SMEs, and operational excellence teams to translate expertise into scalable learning and certification programs.
- Ensuring structured, role‑specific training across products and processes.
- Driving uniformity in onboarding and training approaches and operational methods.
- Overseeing the development of a formal certification program for clients and SIs.
- Leading the implementation and enhancement of a modern Learning Management System (LMS).
- Managing SpryPoint's Living Lab for hands‑on learning experiences.
- Working with partners to advance SpryPoint Academy into a scalable internal learning platform.
- Evaluating program effectiveness and driving improvements.
Cross‑Functional Enablement & Alignment
This role acts as a vital cross‑functional leader, requiring strong relationship‑building skills to achieve alignment across the organization:
- Collaborate with the PMO and Operations to align CoE standards with actual delivery.
- Engage with Client Solutions, Product, and Success teams to integrate enablement into delivery models.
- Form solid relationships with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and set priorities.
- Ensure alignment between training content, methodologies, product evolution, and organizational goals.
- Serve as a connective resource across teams for consistent communication and execution as the company scales.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in leading a Center of Excellence or enablement initiative within a Professional Services environment in B2B software.
- Proven experience in creating and scaling certification programs for external stakeholders.
- Background in transforming certification and enablement efforts into strategic assets.
- A minimum of 8‑10 years of progressive leadership in professional services, delivery excellence, or enablement functions.
- Strong grasp of customer and partner journey nuances and how enablement influences outcomes.
- Ability to influence and interact effectively at the ELT and Board levels.
- Proficiency in defining long‑term strategies and converting them into operational programs.
- Familiarity with delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and frameworks (PMBOK).
- Experience with LMS tools, knowledge management solutions, and project delivery systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
