Vice President of Excellence Strategy

The Vice President of Operational Excellence is a full-time, remote role responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and roadmap for operational excellence across the organization. This role leads the design and implementation of standardized processes, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing improvement projects, facilitating cross-functional alignment, and coaching leaders on best practices in Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies. The Vice President monitors operational performance, identifies gaps, and drives corrective actions to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role also collaborates with executive leadership on long-term capacity planning, change management, and organizational development to ensure operational capabilities support business objectives.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in Manufacturing Operations and Manufacturing Operations Management, with a track record of improving efficiency, quality, and throughput.
Strong background in Operational Excellence and Operations Management, including experience leading Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement programs.
Proficiency in Supply Chain Management, with the ability to optimize end-to-end processes, inventory, and logistics in alignment with business goals.
Proven leadership experience in senior operations roles, including managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data, KPIs, and dashboards to guide decisions and measure impact.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and change management skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear actions.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) are highly beneficial.
Experience in remote leadership, including managing distributed teams and collaborating effectively in virtual environments.
