Job Summary

Director, Neuroscience – Migraine Brand Lead is a strategic leadership position within the Neuroscience Business Unit, US, responsible for driving the launch and long‑term brand performance of Dysport in the migraine indication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as owner for the US migraine indication expansion for Dysport with end‑to‑end accountability for launch strategy, commercial readiness, and brand performance.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive launch planning strategies to support the launch and growth of Dysport in migraine, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives.
  • Provide strategic oversight and final approval for HCP and patient marketing strategies and campaigns, ensuring cohesive brand storytelling and efficient deployment of resources.
  • Manage agency partners to establish agency operating models and develop and execute a media strategy that aligns with brand objectives; assess performance and optimize investment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to enhance the reach and impact of patient marketing efforts.
  • Translate market insights into strategic pivots and portfolio‑level recommendations.
  • Own and manage the migraine launch marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize impact.
  • Establish KPIs and tracking mechanisms to measure pre‑launch effectiveness and readiness.
  • Advocate for patient needs within the organization and raise awareness about the challenges faced by those living with migraine.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners including Global Launch Team, Data & Analytics, Insights, Sales, Value & Access, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Regulatory, Legal, and external agencies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing.
  • Experience with neurotoxins and migraine required; preferably 2+ years focused neurotoxin migraine experience.
  • Successful launch planning and execution experience in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proven cross‑functional leadership skills and ability to influence in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Track record of successful project delivery and positive performance results.
  • Strong scientific/medical aptitude and experience with AMA, ACCME, PhRMA, and FDA regulations.
  • Willingness to travel domestically, with occasional international travel.
  • Commercial field experience a plus.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MS/MBA preferred.
  • Experience in both personal and non‑personal promotion, including pharma DTC creation, execution, measurement, and optimization.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Knowledge of strict compliance to regulatory guidelines for promotion and educational activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay & Benefits

Annual base salary range: $190,000 – $280,000. Eligibility for a short‑term incentive program.
