Job Title: Auto Photographer/Porter/New Car Inspector

Department:

Supervisor: Joey Creswell

Schedule/Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Summary: The Automotive Photo Booth/Porter/New Car Inspector is responsible receiving and inspecting incoming vehicles, photographing support and staging, and moving vehicles efficiently through the production process. This role ensures all vehicles are properly positioned, visually consistent, and frontline-ready for online listings and lot display.

Essential Duties:
Photo Booth Staging & Support

Stage vehicles in the photo booth according to company standards

Align wheels, straighten steering wheel, and center vehicle placement

Ensure proper lighting conditions and clean background setup

Assis with or capture high-quality vehicle photos (interior & exterior)

Verify all required photo angles are completed before vehicle release

Vehicle Movement (Porter Duties)

Safely transport vehicles between Detail/reconditioning area, Photo Booth, Service Dept, Sales Lots

Park and organize vehicles in designated areas

Maintain efficient vehicle flow to avoid production delays

New Vehicle Intake & Inspection

Receive and track incoming new vehicles

Perform initial condition inspection: Exterior (scratches, dents, paint, etc)

Perform initial condition inspection: Interior (damages, keys, books, etc)

Document findings with photos and start process with service on any transit damage claims

Ensure keys and books are logged for service after check in

Deliver extra book and keys to sales department daily

Customer Readiness

Ensure vehicles are presentation-ready for delivery or pickup

Support management in resolving customer concerns related to quality

Maintain a high level of attention to detail to prevent comebacks

Reporting & Documentation

Track inspection scores and common quality issues

Report trends to Foreman or management

Assist in monitoring overall shop quality performance

Qualifications, Experience, Education, Certificates, Licenses, ETC

High School Graduate or GED

Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record

Ability to safely operate various vehicle types

Strong attention to detail and organization skills

Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment

Basic technology skills (tablet, software, apps, and camera systems)

Work Environment & Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

Repeated entry/exit of vehicles

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather

Lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed
