Audio Visual (A/V) Technology Designer

Participating in the development and design of A/V systems, the designer will produce contract drawings and specifications incorporating the required design elements under the supervision of a Senior Designer or Consultant. This will include working with floor plans, ceiling plans, pathway design and system functional design in both REVIT and AutoCAD.

Participating in design projects from conception to completion.

This is an intermediate to mid-level role. You will be working under the direct supervision of senior designers and consultants.

Qualifications

Demonstratable design experience with A/V systems is required.

Field installation experience in other technology disciplines is desirable.

Familiarity with design techniques and the ability to read and understand architectural drawings is required.

Experience with Revit is required, AutoCAD is a plus.

The ability to work with a close-knit team and complete tasks on time.

Organization, creativity and a sharp eye for detail are expected.

Strong communication skills, written and verbal are a must.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Desired Education
Commitment to attain the CTS or CTS-D certification within 12-24 months.

This position will primarily be working in a hybrid environment. Approximately 50% of this position’s time could be spent with clients outside of the office or in the field on project sites.

Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
