The position is offered as full‑time employment within HNS Sports Group and assigned as a member of The Chevron Championship based in Houston, TX and Good Good Championship conducted in Austin, TX. The Tournament Sales Manager will work with the Tournament Directors and Sales Associates as the core Tournament Team and will be supported by additional HNS Sports Group staff.
Key Responsibilities
Assume role as a Tournament Sales Manager with a focus on selling Pro‑Am, Hospitality, and Sponsorship packages, as well as special event programs within the Houston and Austin metropolitan areas and throughout the region.
Actively research, prospect, and qualify sales leads using various tools, including Salesforce, SponsorUnited, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and other tools as identified and available.
Develop and coordinate sales and marketing collaterals for presentations and pitches to various clients using Digideck.
Contribute to the contract execution process and ongoing client relationship management throughout the sales and activation process.
Assist with management of the revenue report utilizing Salesforce, in conjunction with the Tournament Team, to track incoming and contractual revenue.
Manage and send invoices to clients after client agreements have been confirmed and received, utilizing QuickBooks.
Report to the Tournament Director and work in coordination with the Tournament Staff to organize the event. Interact with the HNS management team and assigned staff to communicate assets to all contracted sponsors.
Assist The Chevron Championship and Good Good Championship Tournament Teams, including the HNS Client Activation Team, coordinating all sponsor‑related contract benefits, hospitality benefits, tickets, advertising assets, on‑site branding, catering, pro‑am, and special events.
Assist the Tournament Team in managing the title sponsor’s vendor programs, including but not limited to ideating, collaborating with the title and the presenting sponsor management teams, communicating with their vendors, and securing sponsorship sales at various levels.
Work with the Tournament Teams and other sales agents to manage client relationships throughout the year.
Other Duties
Participate as part of the event management team (tournament staff and support staff) which is assigned to manage all business, promotional, and operational aspects of the tournament, including but not limited to:

Community Events
Operations Management
Budget Compliance
Charity Activities
General
Work to comply with all the standards set forth by the LPGA and PGA TOUR.
Assist with the day‑to‑day duties in the office as applicable.
Willingness to work tournament hours as required for peak season.
Some physical labor and manual work as applicable to event production
Support other HNS Sports Group projects throughout the year as requested

Strong project management skills and ability to deliver results and adhere to deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High affinity for customer service
Familiarity and comfort working with databases; Salesforce experience is highly preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively on a team and independently in varied activities, projects and settings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe products.
Education and Experience
Four‑Year degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a comparable role; experience working in corporate sponsorship or special events is preferred
Compensation
Overall compensation package will include the following elements:

Annual performance bonus (measured by individual and company performance)
