Know the Michigan canna scene inside out? We're hiring a social media specialist who does too. Get paid to grow cannabis brands on social media. (Yes, really. Full-time. Benefits included.) If you've cracked the code on cannabis content, Detroit Design House wants you.

Detroit Design House is a creative marketing agency in Ferndale, MI, and cannabis is at the center of what makes this role unique. You'll be the specialist who understands Michigan's canna brands, and assists in building social content that actually converts without getting accounts nuked.

Beyond canna, you could also manage social for some of our restaurant, nightlife, and retail clients too but make no mistake: cannabis is your lane. You'll work alongside our in-house graphic designers, photographers, and videographers, and be the strategic voice shaping how Michigan canna brands show up online.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
01 — Own the content calendar & postings for multiple canna client accounts across IG & FB

02 — Build actual communities, engage, respond, listen, and grow.

03 — Collaborate with our creative team to plan and execute content that performs.

04 — Lead monthly client communication: new campaigns, fresh ideas, brand alignment.

05 — Maintain a consistent look, voice, and feel across every platform.

06 — Oversee the handoff flow between design and clients to keep things moving.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Must-haves:

Trend-obsessed. You already know what's working before anyone tells you.

1+ year managing social professionally

(no portfolio = no consideration, we need to see your work)

Great eye for visual composition and IG grid aesthetics

Comfortable with Michigan's cannabis culture, brands, and industry

Proficient in Instagram, Facebook.

Can make your own reels

Graphic design skills Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator

Know how to safely run canna ads on Meta
