Job Overview
The Senior Human Resources Generalist, Marketing & Communications (Sr. HRG) serves as a key HR Operations partner, providing end-to-end support across the employee life cycle and supporting HR management to implement key initiatives for the Marketing & Communications Business Unit.
Responsibilities
Serve as an HR operations subject matter resource, supporting HR management across the employee life cycle including onboarding, job changes, promotions, compensation-related actions, leaves, and offboarding.
Administer and process Workday transactions and HR operational requests (data changes, one‑time payments, terminations, alternate work location agreements, grade profile updates) ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Partner with Sr HR Manager and/or HR Director to support employee relations, including intake and documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
Support recruiting and staffing operations by reviewing and updating job descriptions, assisting with requisitions, and partnering with recruiters and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
Manage HR administration of global mobility and location changes (personal move requests, home office updates, coordination with payroll and benefits).
Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment regulations, and internal procedures by supporting audits, maintaining documentation, and partnering with benefits and legal teams.
Act as a key point of contact for managers and employees on HR operational questions, interpreting policies, explaining processes, and resolving moderately complex issues.
Participate in HR operational projects and process improvement initiatives, including automation of reports and refinement of HR workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 5 years related work experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, or a related field.
Experience coordinating and leading projects.
Experience responding to HR-related questions and problems from employees or management.
Experience with database management, spreadsheet software, constructing and producing reports, data input, manipulation, and analysis.
Experience working with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications
Advanced understanding of fundamental HR concepts, processes, and services.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience processing and managing HR transactions and employee data within an HRIS (preferably Workday).
Experience coordinating HR operational activities involving multiple stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of concurrent HR operational requests while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Ability to travel.
Salary Information
The starting pay range for this position is $67,645 – $101,343 (USA only; other countries have local currency ranges).
