Arby's Franchisee & Internal Communications Manager

This position provides internal and franchisee communications support for the Arby’s brand, leading communications efforts for the brand’s nearly 3,300 U.S. restaurants, franchisees, and support center teams. They serve as a partner for Arby’s leadership, helping guide messaging development, alignment, and communication to team members, franchisees, and restaurant teams. They are also the primary communications partner for cross‑functional brand and shared services partners to prepare newsletters and other internal communications. This position leads content development for large‑scale brand conferences, town halls, and other brand meetings. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast‑paced environment, have strong writing skills and the ability to capture the brand voice, have direct experience supporting executive leadership, and can provide strategic communications guidance to cross‑functional teams. The role is based in the Atlanta Global Support Center and supports the Arby’s team as part of a shared services communications team for Inspire, Baskin‑Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and Sonic.
Responsibilities Develop and implement brand internal communication strategies and programs that engage, inspire, and align team members with the brand’s vision, priorities, and key initiatives.
Work closely with select leaders across Shared Services leaders and brand leaders on communications, including newsletters, announcements, and talking points.
Lead content strategy for brand meetings and events, including annual conventions.
Collaborate with other Managers across the Inspire Communications team to coordinate communication of large‑scale communications initiatives.
Education and Experience Qualifications 4‑Year Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
5 or more years of experience in internal communications or public relations in a corporate or agency environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Skilled and versatile writer in various formats, including speechwriting, memos, talking points, presentations, communications plans, and newsletters.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to turn complex ideas into stories and visual concepts easily understood by a broad audience.
Demonstrated creativity and proactivity to generate excitement and celebration around the brand’s core narratives.
Flexible and resilient problem solver with the ability to build broad‑based consensus and manage sensitive situations.
Ability to learn and respond quickly to organizational needs, demonstrating resiliency in various situations and adapting quickly to changing needs of the business.
Experience working directly with senior executives, with a proven track record of inspiring and engaging stakeholder audiences.
Hospitality or retail experience is a plus.
