UAS Aircraft Sustainment Specialist
Position Summary: Titan Echelon is seeking a UAS Mechanic II to join our Flight Operations team. Under indirect supervision, this position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operational readiness of unmanned aircraft systems and associated support equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude and aircraft maintenance experience, with additional experience in composite structural repair and logistics support. This role supports both flight operations and sustainment activities by maintaining aircraft, performing composite repairs, and assisting with inventory control, parts procurement, and material management.

Perform maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of UAS aircraft systems and subsystems.
Conduct aircraft launch, recovery, ground handling, servicing, and post-flight inspections.
Perform scheduled, preventative, and corrective maintenance on aircraft and associated ground support equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, avionics, flight control, engine, and aircraft system discrepancies.
Perform structural, composite, and mechanical repairs on aircraft components and airframes.
Fabricate, modify, and repair composite structures using prepreg, wet layup, vacuum bagging, bonding, and resin infusion techniques as required.
Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, and maintenance procedures.
Analyze maintenance records, equipment logs, and troubleshooting data to identify and resolve operational issues.
Maintain aircraft records, maintenance documentation, inspection reports, and technical data in accordance with company and customer requirements.
Support inventory management activities including cycle counts, stock organization, shelf-life monitoring, and material accountability.
Coordinate receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of aircraft parts, composite materials, tools, and maintenance supplies.
Assist with procurement activities by identifying required repair parts, obtaining vendor quotes, and coordinating material orders.
Maintain compliance with company quality standards, safety requirements, and maintenance procedures.
Support deployed operations and travel requirements as mission needs dictate.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, UAS maintenance, military aviation, mechanical maintenance, or a related technical field.
Experience performing routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on aircraft systems, subsystems, and support equipment.
Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft mechanical, electrical, avionics, flight control, and associated systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
Working knowledge of safe rigging practices and material handling procedures.
Composite, structural, and mechanical repair experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Physical.
Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of operational requirements.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting military aviation operations.
Experience with advanced composite fabrication and repair techniques.
Experience with inventory management, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
Familiarity with ERP, inventory management, or maintenance tracking systems.
Experience operating forklifts, material handling equipment, and shop machinery.
Military aviation maintenance training or equivalent experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Language Ability:
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
