Role and What You’ll Do The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for day‑to‑day execution of social media activities across all UFC accounts, creating timely, accurate, and relevant content for fight fans before, during, and after UFC events.
Manage the posting process from concept to approval and manage execution.
Handle creative requests and asset delivery for UFC social media and digital channels.
Collaborate with multiple departments to copy‑edit and post social media content for UFC’s official Facebook, Instagram, X, WhatsApp, and Threads pages.
Edit video content for UFC social platforms.
Provide on‑site and remote coverage of UFC live events, using social media tools to produce content.
Maintain the social media calendar and posting schedule to maximize post impact.
Execute community management across all platforms, tracking fan sentiment, identifying purchasing issues, and managing the UFC social inboxes.
Support growth of emerging social media platforms.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum two years of social media experience for a sports property preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects preferred.
Demonstrable video editing experience for social platforms a plus.
Journalism background and MMA/UFC knowledge preferred.
Experience with social analytic tools a plus.
Microsoft Excel for creating, editing, and maintaining analytics reports.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in accordance with UFC’s live event schedule.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle an intense, fast‑paced environment.
