About the Role
The Centercratic Party is seeking dedicated Volunteer Political Writers to contribute to

News & Views . We are building a political home for the exhausted majority of Americans who have been abandoned by the extreme fringes of both major parties. This role is for individuals who understand that political writing should rely on facts, extensive research, and clear communication rather than partisan outrage. You will be responsible for independently researching government reports, analyzing policy, and drafting articles that align with our mission to restore functional, moderate governance.
Responsibilities
Pitch and write up to two articles per month (up to 1,700 words each) for publication on our platforms.
Conduct deep research using verified sources, including state auditor reports, GAO findings, and current legislative data.
Adhere strictly to the Centercratic Party’s communication guidelines. This includes maintaining a professional, non-partisan, and accessible writing style devoid of slang, sarcasm, or personal attacks.
Tell compelling stories that highlight the real-world impact of political decisions on everyday Americans, ensuring every piece has a strong opening hook and a clear narrative purpose.

Requirements
A commitment of 5 to 10 hours per week.
Excellent grasp of grammar and sentence structure, with the ability to explain complex political concepts in plain language for the average American citizen.
A strong alignment with the Centercratic Party’s nine guiding principles, specifically the commitment to debate with facts and dignity while seeking unity through broad support.
Prior experience in journalism, political science, or professional business writing is preferred.
