Account Manager Trainee

A DAY IN THE LIFE AT ARROWHEAD In this position, you will develop the knowledge and skills to provide technical and advanced administrative support to our producers. You will also develop the knowledge and ability to provide consultation and technical support as the first point of contact for customers. Additionally, you will compile data, perform routine and non‑routine tasks, and process renewals and endorsements to support the underwriting process.
CLIENT MANAGEMENT You will provide an outstanding client experience focusing on daily policy management duties like:
Review in‑force policies for current clients, ensuring forms, endorsements, policy changes, billing, and other data are accurate in our agency management system (Applied/EPIC).
Personally manage higher‑level changes and mission‑critical adjustments such as location changes requiring your expertise.
Handle billing‑related issues and work directly with Accounting to address past‑due balances.
MARKETING Renewing and remarketing an existing book of business is a key focus from Day One. Your tasks include:
Updating policy information, gathering loss reports, and processing renewal information received from clients.
Completing applications and submissions.
Working with insurance‑company underwriters to receive timely and accurate quotes.
Preparing renewal presentations and proposals, and binding/reissuing policies.
EXPERIENCE WE NEED IN THIS ROLE The ideal candidate has:
Bachelor’s degree and zero to two years related experience in the insurance industry and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
High level of organizational ability and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks and assignments within required timeframes.
Excellent customer service skills and written and oral communication skills.
State Property and Casualty license required within the first 90 days of employment.

AWESOME JOB PERKS Pay range is $24.04 to $31.25 per hour, depending on experience plus annual bonus potential.
