POSITION OVERVIEW
The Graphic Designer supports the development and execution of high-impact visual assets across BrandsMart's digital, print, and in-store channels. This role plays a key part in bringing promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and brand messaging to life through clear, engaging, and conversion-focused creative.
Working closely with the Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing team, this role contributes to day-to-day creative production — spanning email, social, video, and print — while building expertise in retail, promotional, and omnichannel design within a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Promotional & Retail Creative Support
• Design and resize creative assets for tentpole campaigns, weekly promotions, and financing offers.
• Support production of assets across email, website, paid media, direct mail, and in-store signage.
• Execute layout updates, pricing changes, and product swaps quickly and accurately.
• Ensure visual consistency across channels under guidance from senior creative leadership.
Email Design
• Design email creatives with strong layout, hierarchy, and mobile responsiveness in mind.
• Prepare assets for email deployment, understanding basic HTML structure and constraints (no coding required).
• Ensure designs are optimized for readability, performance, and cross-device compatibility.
• Build and QA emails within an ESP; experience with Zeta Global is a strong plus.
• Apply best practices for accessibility, image-to-text ratio, and rendering across major clients.
Social Content & Light Video Production
• Create motion graphics for Instagram, Facebook, and other priority platforms — including text animation, product highlights, and promotional messaging.
• Edit short-form video content (Reels, Stories, TikTok-style) for pacing, engagement, and brand alignment.
• Adapt campaign creative into social-friendly formats, dimensions, and aspect ratios.
• Produce light video edits using tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Canva; comfort with basic transitions, captions, and audio sync expected.
• Support content calendars with timely creative delivery.
Print, In-Store & Large-Format Design
• Design and produce print-ready files for in-store signage, direct mail, flyers, shelf talkers, and promotional collateral.
• Set up files to print specification: bleeds, crop marks, color profiles (CMYK), and resolution standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and operations to ensure files are press-ready and accurate.
• Support large-format and OOH executions as needed, including banners, window graphics, and display signage.
• Maintain organized, versioned file structures for all print assets.
Omnichannel Production & Execution
• Apply strong layout, typography, and visual hierarchy to improve readability and conversion across all formats.
• Work efficiently within design systems to ensure consistency across high-volume outputs.
• Take ownership of assigned projects from concept through final delivery — digital and print.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Media, and Operations teams to meet deadlines.
Creative Growth & Development
• Understand what makes creative perform across email, paid media, social, and print.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and performance insights.
• Take feedback constructively and apply it to improve creative quality.
• Stay current with social platform trends, video formats, and digital design best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 2–4 years of graphic design experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or promotional environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating layout design, promotional creative, email, social, and print work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Figma.
• Demonstrated ability to set up print-ready files: bleeds, CMYK, resolution, and vendor specs.
• Working knowledge of light video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Canva.
• Working knowledge of email design best practices and basic HTML structure.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in pricing accuracy, layout consistency, and alignment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
