Advertising Sales Executive
Our growing media company is seeking an Advertising Account Executive to develop partnerships with local and regional businesses to help achieve their marketing objectives.
The Publishing House has been connecting companies and organizations to Colorado’s active, educated, and affluent residents and visitors for over 50 years with our portfolio of Performing Arts and Colorado Lifestyle print publications.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to adapt their marketing and sales skills to an evolving media landscape.
Responsibilities
Sell print and digital advertising to businesses and organizations throughout Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region
Build and maintain a portfolio of strong relationships with new and existing clients
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and editorial teams to understand the unique characteristics and positioning of each product
Use company CRM system to maintain accurate account and opportunity information and drive sales activity
Work closely with production team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of client deliverables
Meet and exceed revenue targets with focus on superior account retention and new account generation
Qualifications
Outgoing, resourceful and self‑motivated
Strong desire to meet/exceed annual revenue targets
Inside sales of advertising and/or Internet sales a big plus
Knowledge and understanding of the media buying and sales process
Strong face‑to‑face, phone-based and electronic communication and presentation skills
Understand and articulate value of print media in current marketing / branding landscape
The compensation package is comprised of base salary, sales commission, and bonus potential and will reflect the skill level and experience of the candidate.
