What is my role?
The Associate Designer works with the cross‑functional team (Pre‑production, Production, Graphics, etc.) to assist the Designer and Director in executing product. The role involves researching trends, communicating with the team, and supporting the Designer.

What You'll Do

Research and identify trends relevant to customers, bringing ideas and inspiration.

Build strong working relationships with teams through communication and problem‑solving.

Create presentation linesheets from start to finish.

Collaborate with designer and director to establish seasonal direction in silhouette, fabric, and concept for specific retailers/markets.

Execute and contribute to presentation books and CAD work.

Attend and participate in fit sessions with the designer.

Communicate and execute technical information through PLM to the Technical Designer.

Understand fundamentals of the production process as it relates to classification.

Manage deadlines in accordance with the calendar.

Assist in coding art and revising CADs.

Assist in sample execution.

Maintain an organized filing system for all CADs on the server.

Help maintain day‑to‑day projects, including filing, tagging, line preparation, copying, and updating development packages, fabric books, and shipping/tracking packages.

What You’ll Need

2‑or 4‑year college degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Textiles, Fine Art, or related field.

2‑3 years of previous experience designing apparel.

Previous experience designing toddlers/girls/tween apparel is a plus.

Strong sense of color, style, and trend.

Extremely proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite.

Attention to detail and follow‑up skills.

Garment construction and fabric knowledge.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment.
