Governance & Requirements Analyst

The Governance & Requirements Analyst supports IT governance processes, portfolio intake, and requirements development. This role focuses on analysis, documentation, and alignment of business needs to PMO processes, enabling effective decision-making, prioritization, and execution across initiatives.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain governance artifacts, policies, standards, and supporting documentation.
Support governance review boards through analysis, briefing materials, meeting coordination, and outcome documentation.
Conduct business process analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessments to support decision-making.
Support demand intake, prioritization, and requirements development using Agile, SAFe, or traditional methods.
Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements and recommended process improvements.
Assist in defining metrics and performance indicators for governance and portfolio activities.
Support architectural and governance alignment reviews across initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5–8 years of experience in business analysis, governance, requirements development, or a related function.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Experience supporting governance boards, portfolio review processes, or similar decision forums.
Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery models.
Experience supporting federal or public sector environments preferred.
CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum certification, or equivalent credentials preferred.
Salary: $125,000.00 - $130,000.00
