The Recording Club by Tiny Room Studios is hiring: Audio Engineer in Los Angeles

The Recording Club is seeking an Audio Engineer to support sessions, maintain world‑class studio systems, and help deliver a seamless, high‑end creative experience for members and clients.

This is a flexible role that may be structured as contract or full‑time depending on experience, availability, and scope.

Responsibilities include:

Engineer recording, rehearsal, podcast, livestream, and post‑production sessions

Maintain and troubleshoot studio audio systems, DAW templates, routing, headphones, consoles, and member‑facing setups

Build and maintain plug‑and‑play studio environments where any user can start creating within minutes

Keep all rooms impeccable—clean, organized, cable‑managed, and always session‑ready

Deliver a high‑touch, hospitality‑driven experience for members and clients

Create simple, intuitive documentation so systems are easy to use without guidance

Resolve technical issues quickly and implement long‑term fixes to prevent recurrence

Support integrated audio, video, and lighting workflows across the facility

Assist with upgrades, installations, inventory, and technical systems development

Collaborate with staff, contractors, producers, and members to ensure consistently high‑quality results

Strong recording engineering skills across Pro Tools, Ableton, and Logic

Strong live sound / FOH mixing skills, including monitors, consoles, signal flow, and fast troubleshooting

Comfortable with signal flow, patching, consoles, interfaces, headphones, microphones, and troubleshooting

Strong bias toward action; proactively identifies and solves problems

Takes ownership of studio systems and member experience end‑to‑end

High awareness of overall studio operations; steps in wherever needed

Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and calm under pressure

Hospitality‑minded with a focus on delivering an exceptional client experience

Familiarity using AI tools to help build systems, document workflows, troubleshoot issues, and improve operational efficiency

Excited to build systems and improve workflows—not just run sessions

Bonus: music production skills, podcasting, Dolby Atmos, video, lighting, or post‑production

$20/hour

Full‑time:

$45,000–$70,000/year , depending on experience and scope
