eCommerce Marketplace Specialist

We are seeking a hands-on eCommerce Marketplace Specialist to support the day-to-day execution of major eCommerce and marketplace accounts.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the mechanics of online retail and enjoys working directly inside marketplace platforms. The right candidate will be involved in item setup, content optimization, keyword strategy, sponsored product activity, search visibility, conversion, pricing, inventory status, reporting, and digital shelf execution.

This position reports to the Sales Manager and plays an important role in implementing eCommerce initiatives, improving online product performance, and strengthening the company’s marketplace execution across key retail accounts.

Key Responsibilities
Marketplace & Account Execution

Support day-to-day execution across major eCommerce and marketplace accounts

Manage platform tasks related to item setup, product maintenance, pricing, promotions, and account updates

Support new item launches, assortment updates, promotional events, and online programs

Monitor account activity, identify execution issues, and escalade risks or opportunities as needed

Help ensure products are set up accurately, launched on time, and maintained properly across eCommerce platforms

Digital Shelf & Content Optimization

Maintain and optimize product listings, titles, descriptions, bullets, attributes, images, keywords, and enhanced content

Improve product visibility, search performance, traffic, conversion, and customer experience

Monitor digital shelf performance and identify opportunities to improve rankings, content quality, and competitive positioning

Review competitor listings, pricing, promotions, and content to help identify actionable opportunities

Partner with creative, product development, and sales teams to ensure online content is accurate, complete, and retail-ready

Sponsored Products & Retail Media Support

Support sponsored product, retail media, and digital advertising activity

Monitor campaign performance, ROAS, traffic, conversion, and keyword effectiveness

Help identify opportunities to improve visibility through paid and organic marketplace activity

Coordinate with internal or external partners to support campaign execution and reporting

Analytics & Reporting

Track KPIs including sales, traffic, conversion, search visibility, inventory, pricing, promotional performance, and digital shelf health

Use Retail Link, Scintilla, Supplier Center, and similar retailer tools to monitor performance and identify trends

Build and maintain reporting that highlights performance, risks, opportunities, and recommended next steps

Translate platform data into clear, practical insights for the Sales Manager and internal teams

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with Sales, Product Development, Planning, Operations, Creative, and Supply Chain teams to support account execution

Coordinate with internal teams to resolve setup issues, content gaps, inventory concerns, pricing discrepancies, and launch timing risks

Support in-stock performance by monitoring availability and communicating issues to the appropriate teams

Help improve the company’s internal eCommerce processes, tools, and execution standards

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in eCommerce, marketplace operations, digital merchandising, or major retail account support

Experience working inside eCommerce platforms, marketplace portals, item setup systems, or retailer account tools

Familiarity with Retail Link, Scintilla, Supplier Center, or similar retail analytics and item management platforms preferred

Strong understanding of digital shelf execution, content optimization, keywords, SEO, conversion, and online promotional activity

Experience supporting sponsored product, retail media, or marketplace advertising activity preferred

Strong Excel and analytical skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities

Strong communication and follow-through skills

Experience in home décor, home textiles, lifestyle products, consumer goods, or retail-focused product categories preferred
