Account Executive Ticket Sales The Knoxville Smokies, the Double-A Affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, are seeking a motivated and energetic Account Executive to join the Ticket Sales Department. This position will report directly to the Director of Ticket and Group Sales and play a key role in driving ticket revenue and creating memorable experiences for fans and corporate partners.
Responsibilities:
Sell season tickets, mini plans, group outings, hospitality areas, suites, and other ticket packages
Renew, upgrade, and service existing customer accounts
Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, and community engagement
Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service
Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals
Assist with game day responsibilities, fan engagement, and client entertainment
Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions
Collaborate with the sales team to develop new ideas and revenue opportunities

Experience Required:
Strong desire to learn and succeed in a competitive sales environment
Bachelor's degree preferred; sales experience is a plus
Ability to sell effectively over the phone, virtually, and in person
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; ticketing/CRM systems a plus
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and long hours as needed during the season
