The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.About the Team:We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Executive to grow our SMB merchant portfolio for the food delivery business. This role will focus on both merchant acquisition and account management, including identifying potential merchants, onboarding new partners, and driving growth for existing accounts.Job Description:Identify, acquire, and onboard new SMB merchants to the platformBuild and maintain strong relationships with merchant partnersManage the end-to-end onboarding process, including contract negotiation and operational setupDrive merchant growth through campaign participation, assortment expansion, and operational improvementsMonitor merchant performance and provide recommendations to improve sales and customer experienceWork closely with cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, and product teams to support merchant successTrack market trends, competitor activities, and merchant feedback to identify business opportunitiesAchieve acquisition, retention, and growth targets set by the companyRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields1–4 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or merchant operationsExperience in food delivery, e-commerce, FMCG, or local services platforms is a plusStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skillsSelf-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliar with Excel/Google Sheets; SQL knowledge is a plusWilling to do fieldwork and engage directly with merchants
