Position Summary
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a strategic, growth‑oriented executive responsible for shaping and executing TRG’s marketing vision to drive revenue growth, brand strength, customer engagement, and market differentiation.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CMO will lead and modernize the marketing function through a data‑driven, digitally enabled strategy aligned closely with sales, operations, technology, and HR. This role will play a critical part in accelerating growth, strengthening customer and employee engagement, and elevating TRG’s market presence across the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy, Brand & Communications

Define and execute an enterprise‑wide marketing and communications strategy aligned with TRG’s growth and value creation objectives

Strengthen brand awareness, reputation, and consistency across all internal and external channels

Develop and market a differentiated value proposition to agents, partners, and customers that clearly communicates TRG’s competitive advantages and service model

Elevate TRG’s industry presence and thought leadership through strategic content, executive positioning, speaking engagements, media opportunities, industry events, blogs, interviews, and publications

Oversee corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, media strategy, and thought leadership initiatives

Lead external communications efforts across press, social media, industry publications, executive messaging, and crisis communications

Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry publications, and strategic partners

Partner closely with HR on employee engagement initiatives, including pulse surveys, Best Companies participation, employer branding, and culture initiatives

Support M&A and integration efforts, including brand alignment, go‑to‑market integration, communication strategies, and positioning of combined capabilities

Drive customer acquisition, retention, and cross‑sell strategies across core and adjacent markets

Partner closely with Sales and Business Development to align go‑to‑market strategies, pipeline growth initiatives, and customer engagement efforts

Develop integrated marketing campaigns supporting both direct and partner distribution channels

Develop targeted marketing strategies, messaging, and value propositions tailored to key customer segments, including affiliate partners, independent agents, builders, attorneys, lenders, and other strategic channels

Create partner‑specific marketing frameworks that support affiliate growth, engagement, and capture of real‑estate brokerage networks

Champion a customer‑first mindset by leveraging data and insights to improve segmentation, messaging, customer journey optimization, and loyalty

Advance marketing technology, automation, CRM, and data capabilities to improve operational effectiveness and customer engagement

Own the strategy, management, adoption, and optimization of agent‑facing marketing and business enablement tools, including marketing portals, fraud prevention programs, preferred vendor programs, and related platforms

Ensure agent‑facing tools and programs deliver best‑in‑class value, drive adoption, and align with business objectives, including monitoring utilization and establishing governance around program participation and eligibility

Identify opportunities to leverage AI, analytics, and emerging technologies within marketing operations and communications

Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure performance, optimize spend, and drive data‑informed decision‑making

Drive continuous improvement through testing, measurement, and optimization initiatives

Support the development, positioning, and launch of new products and services

Collaborate with agency partners and lenders on co‑marketing opportunities and targeted value propositions

Own the marketing budget and allocation strategy across brand, demand generation, digital marketing, communications, partner marketing, and strategic growth initiatives

Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing marketing organization focused on accountability, innovation, and collaboration

Manage external agencies, vendors, and strategic partners

Qualifications
Required

12–15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior executive role

Proven track record of driving measurable growth and building scalable marketing organizations

Experience in financial services, insurance, real estate, or related industries

Strong expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, communications, customer segmentation, and demand generation

Experience developing go‑to‑market strategies across multiple customer and partner channels

Demonstrated ability to align marketing with sales and business strategy to drive revenue outcomes

Experience managing marketing technology platforms, vendor relationships, and operational marketing programs

Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical and strategic decision‑making capabilities

Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presence

Preferred

Experience working with independent agent networks, affiliate partnerships, or B2B2C business models

Familiarity with regulatory considerations in real estate or financial services

Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or integration‑related brand and communication initiatives

MBA or advanced degree in business, marketing, or related field

Strategic thinker with strong execution orientation

Customer‑first mindset with appreciation for relationship‑driven businesses

Ability to balance brand building, commercial growth, and operational execution

Innovative and forward‑looking, with a focus on modernization and transformation

Comfortable operating in a complex, multi‑channel environment

Strong financial and operational acumen, including budget ownership and ROI management

High ownership, accountability, and bias toward action
