To support a growing Business Development team, the remote Senior Proposal Writer will manage the proposal writing lifecycle, author a variety of technical content related to IT services, and oversee a small proposal team while ensuring compliance and quality in submissions.
Key responsibilities:
Participate in all phases of the proposal process, including strategy planning, content writing, and internal reviews to articulate business value
Coordinate proposal management activities, including document creation, proposal schedules, and executive summaries, while adhering to company standards
Supervise a small proposal team, providing guidance on writing assignments and ensuring deadlines are met with quality content
Required qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related STEM field with 8-10 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal management for Federal contracts, with knowledge of Federal/DoD contracting
Proven experience writing and managing proposals over $30M in value, with familiarity in 8(a) sole source proposals preferred
Experience utilizing AI-enabled proposal development tools and generating prompts is highly preferred
Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite programs, including strong writing and editing skills
