Position Summary
Temporary hourly‑intermittent bridge student assistant position available in Communication Studies.

Start Date
Position available on or after June 15, 2026 and ending on or before August 31, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

Job Description / Duties

Coordinate community engagement activities for KCSS Radio Station including live music for Warrior Wednesday and other campus events.

Provide public relations and promotional support for the KCSS student management team.

Attend regular KCSS staff meetings.

Develop and maintain the KCSS Website and Social Media channels.

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of alternative music formats.

Demonstrates the willingness to commit to employment through May 31, 2027.

Demonstrates working knowledge of the operation of a college radio station, some management, and non-commercial radio experience.

Demonstrates completion of one semester of COMM 3112.

Demonstrates effective organizational and communication skills.

Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Demonstrates prior experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.

Required Qualifications

Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.

Post‑baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

Salary Range
$16.90 per hour.
