About the Role

We’re looking for a highly experienced, hands-on

Performance Marketing Manager

to own and drive results across our PPC accounts, with a primary focus on

Google Ads (Search + PMax)

and

Meta Ads

.

This is not a “set it and forget it” role. You will be directly responsible for ensuring all paid media retainers are operating efficiently, scaling where possible, and consistently driving strong

ROAS and revenue growth

for our clients.

You’ll also act as the

strategic lead and day-to-day owner of contractor and/or agency partners

, ensuring high-quality execution, accountability, and performance across every account.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Own Paid Media Performance

Manage and optimize campaigns across Google Ads (Search, PMax) and Meta Ads (Prospecting + Retargeting)

Drive measurable growth in

ROAS, CPA, and revenue

Identify and execute on scaling opportunities

Hands-On Campaign Execution

Audit, build, and optimize campaigns (structure, targeting, bidding, creatives)

Continuously test and iterate (audiences, messaging, landing pages)

Ensure proper tracking, attribution, and data integrity (GA4, pixels, CAPI, etc.)

Lead & Manage Contractors / Agencies

Act as the

primary point of accountability

for external partners

Set clear expectations, review performance, and ensure deliverables meet standards

Push for efficiency, quality, and results, no passive management

Strategic Leadership

Bring proactive ideas to improve performance across accounts

Stay ahead of the

latest PPC trends, platform updates, and AI advancements

Apply data-driven insights to influence broader marketing and CRO strategy

Client & Internal Communication

Come to meetings prepared with

clear insights, performance narratives, and action plans

Confidently present wins, losses, and optimization strategies

Share real examples of past performance and lessons learned

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of hands-on PPC experience across Google Ads and Meta Ads

Agency background managing multiple client accounts simultaneously (B2bB and B2C)

Proven track record of hitting or exceeding ROAS targets and scaling revenue

Experience directing contractors, freelancers, or external agency partners

Deep expertise in Google Ads (Search + PMax), Meta Ads full-funnel strategy, attribution, tracking, and GA4

Strong testing mindset across creatives, audiences, and landing pages

Comfortable making fast decisions with incomplete data and shifting priorities

AI & Efficiency

Fluent in AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, platform automation, scripts) and applies them to improve performance, speed up workflows, and generate insights

Treats time as a resource, always looking to automate, streamline, and eliminate inefficiency

Landing Page Optimization & CRO

Continuously assess LP performance and identify conversion bottlenecks

Partner with design and development to implement data-backed CRO updates

Use GA4, heatmaps (e.g., Microsoft Clarity), and campaign data to drive recommendations

Ensure ad-to-landing-page message consistency across all campaigns

Test LP variants across different audiences, funnels, and campaign objectives

What Success Looks Like

PPC accounts are

consistently hitting or exceeding ROAS targets

Contractors/agencies are

well-managed, accountable, and delivering quality work

Clear performance insights are communicated regularly

New growth opportunities are proactively identified and executed

Work is done

efficiently: time is treated as a critical resource

Bonus Points

Experience in eCommerce / Shopify environments

Familiarity with tools like GA4 and Klaviyo

Physical Requirements

This is a remote position requiring regular use of a computer and digital communication tools, including email, video conferencing, and messaging platforms. The role involves regular review and assessment of website layouts, functionality, and design feedback.
