Overview The Social Media Manager (SMM) is the social media lead for Texas Lifestyle Magazine (TLM). The primary responsibility is to ensure content is posted consistently on TLM platforms based on the strategy developed by the SMM and the TLM leadership team. The SMM also manages and mentors the TLM digital intern, with the intern creating and scheduling most regular content. The SMM presents monthly social media numbers at the monthly team meeting and offers ideas to grow TLM platforms and to optimize content to leverage ongoing social media trends.
Responsibilities Lead social media strategy execution and ensure consistent posting across TLM platforms according to the established plan.
Manage and mentor the TLM digital intern; coordinate content creation and scheduling as applicable.
Present monthly social media metrics at the monthly team meeting.
Generate ideas to grow TLM platforms and optimize content to take advantage of ongoing social media trends.
