The Role
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) is looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Community Strategist to showcase the energy and excitement of Las Vegas across multiple platforms. In this role, you’ll be the voice of the destination—engaging with fans, answering questions, and celebrating user content through authentic, dynamic interactions. With a deep knowledge of both iconic attractions and hidden local gems, you’ll connect with audiences in a way that inspires, informs, and brings the spirit of Las Vegas to life.

What You’ll Accomplish

Engage with fans and followers in real time across Instagram, TikTok, X, Meta, YouTube, and other social platforms.

Respond to comments, DMs, tags, and mentions with authenticity, aligning with the brand’s voice and personality.

Monitor channels and online conversations using social listening tools to identify trends, sentiment, and engagement opportunities.

Develop and execute engagement strategies that grow audiences, highlight destination expertise, and strengthen brand loyalty.

Write clever, on‑brand copy for replies, proactive interactions, and cultural moments.

Identify and flag high‑quality fan content for potential use on LVCVA channels.

Track and report on community engagement metrics, fan insights, and conversation trends.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in community management or concierge services.

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.

In‑depth knowledge of Las Vegas, from iconic attractions to hidden local gems.

Strong experience with major social platforms (Meta, X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).

Exceptional written communication skills and a strong sense of brand voice.

Team player with strong collaboration skills.

Genuine passion for Las Vegas culture and experiences.
