Automotive Finance Consultant

to join their team and the Holman family!

Job Duties

Oversees all aspects of financing and leasing new and pre‑owned vehicle contacts

Works with Sales Management in all areas of financing customers keeping them and client advisors informed of the status of contracts

Maximizes products sold on each vehicle transaction

Understands Manufacturer programs as well as other finance sourcing options

Communicates to client advisors all relevant information about finance programs

Reviews contracts, ensuring that all paperwork is properly submitted to financial sources

Ensures compliance with company policy and legal requirements

Reports the approval status of customer contracts to the respective client advisors

Works with finance sources to maximize customer approvals

Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the sales

Works with Sales Managers to secure a reasonable profit from every sale

Partners with sales manager to achieve desired sales department financial goals

Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Training

High School diploma or GED

College degree preferred and 2+ years of related sales experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relevant Work Experience

2+ years of dealership sales experience in various aspects of the sales department or similar related work

Experience working with computer systems, finance programs and sales principles, concepts and sales department operations.
