The Gallery Players in Park Slope is seeking a Costume Designer and a Wig Designer for its upcoming non-equity production of the musical PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT. The show is a book by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott, based on the Latent Image/Specific Films motion picture distributed by Metro‑Goldwyn‑Mayer Inc., directed by Ryan Hendricks and produced by Dominic Cuskern.
The show runs from September 18 to October 4. Rehearsals begin August 1, with evening sessions during the week and daytime sessions on weekends. Technical rehearsals start September 11 from 7–11 PM, over three consecutive days, followed by a one‑day break on Monday, then another set of technical rehearsals from September 15 to 17, 7–11 PM. These are 10‑hour days with a dinner break.
Responsibilities

The Costume Designer will create and oversee drag‑inspired costume design for the production.
The Wig Designer will design, construct, and maintain drag wigs throughout the run.
One‑time stipend of $400.
