Silver Creek Valley Country Club, located in San Jose, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator. The role is part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management. The Coordinator will oversee the club's digital presence and ensure cohesive, timely, and engaging communication across all platforms, including content strategy, website updates, social media management, and brand support.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing tactics that enhance the awareness of the Silver Creek Valley CC brand and communicate the ongoing execution of the Sales & Marketing Plan in collaboration with onsite club management, board committees, and the Troon corporate team.

Drive content development and facilitate production of all membership‑related materials, including prospecting, onboarding, and retention efforts.

Lead marketing initiatives outlined in the Sales & Marketing Plan, such as paid digital efforts, new homeowner outreach, and realtor relations.

Manage Silver Creek Valley CC social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) and ensure delivery of consistent, high‑quality, engaging content that reflects the brand.

Create and schedule posts; monitor engagement; respond to comments.

Produce visual and written content (photos, video, copy) for internal and external distribution.

Monitor analytics for web and social channels; provide performance reports.

Develop communication plans covering all club communications from emails to newsletters.

Design and execute a monthly club newsletter featuring content from each department.

Engage with the club website platform: update calendars, events, menus, hours, event albums, etc.; coordinate, edit, and send email communications on behalf of club departments, boards, and committees; coordinate content collection and lead website functionality and performance.

Contribute to the overall success of the club and community by interacting positively with members, coworkers, and management, focusing on hospitality, leadership, and mutual respect.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager or Sales Director.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

2+ years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or social media.

Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent; Business & Marketing preferred.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CMS platforms, and social scheduling tools.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong eye for design and visual storytelling.

Strong organizational skills: time management, attention to detail, ability to self‑start.

Able to multi‑task and deliver high‑quality results with strict deadlines.

Team player who can cooperate with other departments, committees, and the board to achieve club goals.

Proficient on social media platforms; experience with ad creation and campaign management is preferred.

Familiarity with club system software is preferred.

Certificates / Licenses

Valid Driver’s License.
