Position: Full-Time Field Account Manager – Optical Channel

General Function
The Field Account Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing sales strategies for the independent channel. The role focuses on building relationships, driving sales growth, and optimizing the success of independent eye care professional customers.

Foster strong relationships and provide ongoing support to existing customers, ensuring loyalty and high sales retention.

Grow sales revenue within the existing customer base through consultative selling.

Develop new business with prospective customers.

Identify areas for improvement to consistently exceed sales quotas.

Implement and monitor partnership programs with territory-based customers.

Leverage competitive knowledge to recommend opportunities for market share gains.

Act as the lead point of contact for assigned customers.

Conduct training sessions to maintain consistent messaging.

Collaborate on business management of strategic partnerships within the territory.

Present on practice management and market trends to doctors and opticians.

Support promotional activities, aligning with brand and business objectives.

Build and maintain relationships with key partners from Alliance and Buying Groups.

Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions per customer needs.

Identify and grow opportunities within the territory, collaborating with sales leadership for growth attainment.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree.

5+ years of experience in account management or a similar role, preferably in the optical industry.

Experience in outside sales, territory, and call cycle management.

Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.

Attention to detail, including basic data analysis.

Strategic thinking coupled with strong execution capability.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to negotiate at all levels.

Strong initiative and sense of urgency.

Capable of generating creative solutions quickly.

Ability to solve cross‑departmental problems.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Willingness to travel and drive a company automobile.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field.

Professional B2B selling experience in the healthcare sector.
