About The Role Obsidian is looking for a strategic and creative Customer Marketing Manager to build and scale programs that deepen customer engagement, celebrate customer success, and turn our users into passionate advocates. In this role, you’ll own customer storytelling—from case studies to milestone highlights—and scale Obsidian’s Customer Advocacy program.
In this role, you will Develop and manage customer advocacy and engagement programs, including reference networks, lifecycle touchpoints, and customer marketing initiatives.
Produce high‑quality customer stories, case studies, testimonials, and milestone announcements that highlight Obsidian’s value proposition.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with CS, Sales, Product Marketing, and Leadership to identify strong customer stories and expand our use cases.
Build and maintain a roster of customer champions who can support reference calls, speak at events/webinars, provide quotes, and participate in co‑marketing.
Track engagement and measure the impact of customer marketing initiatives on retention, advocacy, and pipeline influence.
Build and manage the company’s social media strategy and day‑to‑day content publishing and curation to raise brand awareness and strengthen Obsidian’s positioning as a leader in SaaS and AI security.
Build and manage the company’s social media content calendar and work with cross‑functional teams to amplify key product milestones, customer success, and industry recognition.
Drive engagement with security professionals on LinkedIn.
Your background looks like this 5‑7 years of experience in customer marketing, product marketing, or customer success.
Good understanding of the cyber security space—specifically SaaS and AI security is a plus.
2‑3 years in B2B social media engagement with strong understanding of mainly LinkedIn and YouTube.
Ability to create short‑form videos and digital assets to support marketing needs.
Exceptional storytelling, interviewing, and content development skills with a strong understanding of how to effectively engage on LinkedIn.
Strong relationship builder with the ability to work closely with customers and internal stakeholders.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Passionate about amplifying customer impact and building programs from the ground up.

Pay Transparency Base Salary Range
$195,000 - $212,000 USD
