Responsibilities
Provide the highest quality service to customers and cross‑sell within the existing book of business.
Serve as the day‑to‑day liaison between the insurance company and designated accounts managed by Account Executives, Sr. Account Executives, and Producers.
Address coverage issues, conduct contract and exposure analysis, issue auto ID cards, and manage all inside‑service work for client accounts.
Handle endorsement activity, routine coverage questions, problem solving, and renewal control.
Prepare formal proposals, check and bind policies, and manage the contract lifecycle from proposal to binding.
Coordinate with senior staff on strategic account issues and potential problems, while ensuring successful fulfillment of Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
Maintain accurate agency EPIC files and document conversations in emails and other notes in compliance with MIB electronic and EPIC procedures.
Handle cancellations promptly, checking carrier websites or NOC’s received via scan, fax, or email, and adhere to E&O guidelines.
Prepare and check policies against the SOG checklist, ensuring accuracy and all applicable endorsements are included.
Qualifications
Knowledge of underwriting and rating procedures for all types of personal lines policies.
Ability to quote new business and renewal options to every client.
Prepare proposals and applications, submit them to insureds and carriers, obtain client signatures, and follow up to ensure timely responses.
Provide Summary of Insurance for new accounts upon coverage binding and update for existing clients.
Remarket accounts as directed and follow up with the relevant Account Executive or Producer.
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of carrier websites, communications, new coverage options, and billing procedures.
Maintain agency EPIC files accurately and consistently with proper documentation.
Additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
College degree preferred (high school diploma is required).
Current California Department of Insurance License.
1–2 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with Agency Management Systems (e.g., EPIC, AMS 360) or other paperless insurance management systems.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Requires use of a computer keyboard and extended stationary sitting, utilizing office machinery such as fax and copy machines, and telephones.

Salary range: $38,800 to $82,900. Base pay determined by experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Additional performance‑based incentives may be available.
