Business Development Manager

Chicago | Up to $140k + generous OTE potential
Insight Executive Solutions is supporting a leading Facilities Management provider with a strategic Business Development Manager opportunity in Chicago.

This is part of a wider growth campaign, with similar opportunities also available in Philadelphia, Washington DC and Milwaukee.
This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a strong local network and a proven ability to identify, develop and close new business opportunities across the FM market.

You’ll take ownership of growth across the Chicago market, building relationships with target clients, developing a strong pipeline and shaping tailored FM solutions that respond to customer needs. Working closely with senior operational and sales leaders, you’ll play a key role in opening new doors, leading client conversations and supporting high-quality proposals and presentations.

This is not a transactional sales role. It requires someone who can understand client challenges, build trust quickly, influence stakeholders and clearly articulate value in a competitive market.

The opportunity

You’ll have the autonomy to develop your local market, the support of experienced internal teams and the opportunity to earn generously through an uncapped commission structure.

We’re looking for someone with:

Proven business development or sales experience within Facilities Management or a closely related sector

A strong network across the local market

The confidence to lead client conversations, presentations and proposal activity

A track record of building pipeline and converting new business opportunities

Strong commercial judgement and the ability to shape client-focused solutions

A proactive, energetic and target-driven approach
