Job Title: Wholesale Marketing Manager (Sport Specialty)


Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid)


Overview:

We are seeking a Wholesale Marketing Manager to support key specialty retail accounts within a fast-paced, consumer-focused organization. This role will serve as the primary marketing lead for a major eCommerce partner while also supporting seasonal initiatives across Running and Soccer specialty accounts. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of owning account relationships while executing high-impact marketing programs from concept through delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


Account Marketing & Strategy



  • Own and execute marketing plans for a major wholesale account, serving as the primary point of contact

  • Support additional specialty accounts (Running and Soccer) based on seasonal business needs

  • Align marketing strategies with sales, merchandising, and brand priorities to drive sell-through and consumer engagement

  • Manage account marketing calendars and ensure timely execution of campaigns


Activation & Execution



  • Lead in-store, digital, and omnichannel marketing activations, including product launches and seasonal campaigns

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure best-in-class execution across retail and digital touchpoints

  • Manage smaller accounts end-to-end, from planning through execution


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Work closely with Sales, Merchandising, Digital Marketing, and Visual Merchandising teams to deliver cohesive consumer experiences

  • Collaborate with external retail partners to align on marketing priorities and execution


Performance & Optimization



  • Track campaign performance and provide insights to optimize future marketing investments

  • Support budget tracking and ensure efficient use of marketing spend


Qualifications:



  • 5-7 years of experience in wholesale marketing, brand marketing, trade marketing, or account management

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience executing retail and/or digital marketing campaigns

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage stakeholder relationships

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
