CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. This role focuses on generating new business and managing existing client relationships across the commercial real estate market.
Role Overview
As an Account Executive, you will drive new business while managing and expanding a portfolio of clients. The role is consultative and includes leveraging industry knowledge to deliver value through CoStar products, guiding clients through the entire sales process from prospecting to renewal.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by promoting the value of CoStar products to the commercial real estate industry and beyond.
Effectively manage and expand your portfolio of clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and growth.
Develop expertise in CoStar’s products and the commercial real estate market as the #1 brand in the industry.
Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, product demonstrations, closing, onboarding, training, and renewing clients.
Conduct in‑person meetings and deliver product demos to brokers, owners, corporations, investors, and other commercial real estate professionals.
Represent CoStar at industry events and cultivate long‑term relationships and a professional network.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of successful B2B sales experience.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college/university.
Track record of exceeding sales targets.
Experience in client management and post‑sale support.
Current and valid driver’s license; satisfactory driving record check prior to start.
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience selling data, research, and analytics platforms, especially in commercial real estate, financial services, business intelligence, or marketing.
Strong consultative selling skills with a proven ability to build rapport and trust.
Interest in the commercial real estate market and a willingness to develop expertise in CoStar’s product suite.
Demonstrated success in managing client portfolios and driving revenue growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
Results‑driven mindset focused on customer satisfaction and market knowledge.

Pay Transparency
Base salary range: $70,000 – $90,000, based on relevant skills and experience. The position includes an uncapped commission plan and generous benefits.
