Job Description
This position willown all specs,patterns,gradereview, fit sessionmanagement,and will communicate directly with suppliersto ensure proper understanding oftechnicalcorrections needed forthe nextsample stage. The role of Senior Technical Designer willbe responsible formanaging any construction improvements and will workclosely with design and product developmentto collectivelymakegreat qualityactive apparel. There isan opportunityforadditionalbreadth of responsibilities in this role as we continue to grow as a brand.

What you'll get to do:

Newstyleset up with specs (includespattern adjustments andpattern creation from scratch)

Manage/Maintainall specs and grades frominitialset up through production

(proto’s, PPs, Size Sets, TOPs)

Prepares and leads all fittings(measuresand pre-fitsgarments)

Organizesweekly fit schedule for assigned products

Communicatesall fitand constructionrelated comments to the vendorand internal teams withindevelopment andproduction timelines and in a professionalmanner.

Establishes andmaintainsfit,construction standards and blocks to ensurefitconsistency andquality.

Responsible for managing and hitting all deadlines along with communicating anychallenges.

Works to improvefitand quality through review ofcustomers'comments, salesfeedback andunderstandingofcompetition.Including instore retail quality checkspost productlaunches.

Partner with manager onfit model analysis/booking go sees andmaintainsmodel data base.

Partner with managerbyrecordingcostsassociated to fit model booking.

Understands how to read and correct patterns through2Dsoftware.

3Dsoftwarea plus, will berequiredto obtain V-stitcher certification if not already completed.

Complete understanding and knowledge of grading.

Organized with time management and attention todetail.

Maintain full understanding ofassignedstylesandhistorical issues

Strongunderstanding offabrications and how they react with silhouettes.

Is a team playerand leader, able to work closely with other team members to help manage overall workloadwith regards to construction, fit, approvals, comments, timelines, etc.

Responsible for providing all product related fit details for catalog / website.

Qualifications
Who you are:

Degree in tech design, patternmaking, or related field and/or equivalentyears of experience preferred.

7+ years’ experience in technical designroles.

Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment withcross-functionalteams (design, development, merchand production, vendor base).

Must have excellent communication and organizationalskills.

Must have experience communicating with vendors overseas.

Must have experience working with vendors onsite

Must be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasksefficiently.

Must be able to work proficiently inOutlook,MicrosoftExceland Adobe Illustrator

Knowledge of computer patternmaking isrequired(example: Gerber, 3D V-Stitcher /Browzewear)

KnowledgeofPLM is a plus

The salary range for this role is $117,700 per year - $151,410 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
