We are seeking a dynamic Sales & General Manager to lead an innovative upscale Stay & Play hospitality concept that combines premium hotel accommodations with state-of-the-art Trackman golf simulator entertainment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing hotel occupancy, increasing golf simulator utilization, driving local corporate and social event sales, and delivering an exceptional guest experience that seamlessly integrates hospitality and entertainment.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Sales
Drive hotel occupancy and increase Average Daily Rate (ADR) through strategic sales initiatives.
Develop and execute local marketing campaigns to attract both hotel guests and the Acadiana community.
Generate corporate event, team-building, tournament, league, and private party business.
Build relationships with local businesses, golf organizations, chambers of commerce, and community partners.
Create and implement pricing strategies to maximize simulator bay utilization and overall property revenue.
Operations Management
Oversee daily hotel and entertainment operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and performance of hotel and simulator operations teams.
Monitor operational metrics, guest feedback, occupancy trends, and simulator utilization.
Ensure Trackman systems, booking platforms, and related technology are properly maintained and optimized.
Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
Guest Experience
Create a premium Stay & Play experience that blends hospitality and golf entertainment.
Train team members to effectively promote simulator experiences to hotel guests.
Develop programs, leagues, tournaments, and events that encourage repeat visitation and customer loyalty.
Foster a culture of hospitality, engagement, and service excellence.
Marketing & Community Engagement
Manage social media presence and local grassroots marketing efforts.
Establish partnerships with golf professionals, golf courses, sports organizations, and event planners.
Represent the property at networking events, community meetings, and business functions throughout the Acadiana market.
Qualifications
Required Experience
3–5+ years of management experience in hospitality, sports entertainment, golf operations, boutique hotels, country clubs, or related industries.
Demonstrated success driving revenue growth through sales, events, memberships, or ancillary revenue streams.
Experience managing teams, budgets, and guest-facing operations.
Strong understanding of hospitality operations and customer service standards.
Preferred Experience
Experience with Trackman technology, launch monitors, golf simulator operations, or golf instruction programs.
Experience organizing leagues, tournaments, corporate outings, and special events.
Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS) and reservation platforms. xsgimln
