Senior Interaction Designer, YouTube Connected Experiences
As a Senior Interaction Designer on the Living Room team, you will lead the design of how users watch YouTube on TV. You’ll work with cross‑functional partners to create patterns for second‑screen companion experiences, guiding projects from concept to launch and ensuring user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs are user‑centric and impactful.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

6+ years of interaction design experience in product or UX design.

Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary UX or product teams (Interaction, Motion, UX Research, Engineering, UX Writing) through the product lifecycle.

Proficiency in creating high‑fidelity visual mockups and prototypes with industry‑standard tools.

Experience designing across multiple platforms (Web, Mobile, TV, etc.) and bringing features from concept to launch.

Portfolio, website, or other relevant work link provided in the resume.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in design, HCI, computer science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3+ years working in a cross‑functional organization.

2+ years leading design projects.

Experience designing for hardware, connected media devices, or 10‑foot (TV) screens.

Experience with apps that run on TVs or game consoles.

Strong skills in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.

US salary range: $159,000 – $231,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits.
