Overview
Audible’s Content team is looking for a smart, passionate editor to support the ongoing curation needs of the editorial team and to oversee the Hear My Story program—collections by storytellers from diverse backgrounds and experiences. The Editor defines the goals and strategy of the program, ensuring alignment with the department and business objectives. They oversee updates across Global English marketplaces and collaborate cross-functionally with partner teams. The Senior Editor measures program success and reports results and participates in other Editorial programs as needed.
Responsibilities
Oversee Editorial’s Hear My Story (HMS) program, collections by storytellers from diverse backgrounds and experiences, across Global English marketplaces
Collaborate with HMS page owners on the Editorial team to maintain an “always on” experience across blog and app
Advocate for and secure Blog content to support each HMS page (interviews, articles, and related materials)
Deliver results for the program and oversee the strategy for overall health
Offer subject-matter expertise on various genres
Conceive, pitch, create, and edit content for the Blog to help listeners find their next great listen

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of editor, content strategist, technical writer, or content developer experience
Experience with a Content Management System (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience overseeing large-scale editorial programs and delivering results
Experience championing diverse content and creators
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within a global company with multi-country responsibilities
Experience managing multiple complex projects and adapting to change
Curatorial expertise and strong written skills
Familiarity with Substack
Passion for pop culture and current events with a strong editorial sense
Deep knowledge of books, authors, and publishing industry across recent releases and backlist
Salary and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation includes sign-on payments and RSUs. Final compensation is determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
