Backed by long-term manufacturing and operational experts, PacIQ delivers market-based insights into pricing trends and key cost drivers across the packaging supply chain. We partner with leading organizations across food processing, quick service restaurants (QSR), casual dining and consumer packaged goods, including over 50 mid-tier food processors and many of the top 15 QSR and casual dining brands.

Our clients gain sustainable supplier pricing, material savings and improved packaging decisions without disrupting supplier relationships.

About the Role
RTi’s PacIQ is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth across food processing, restaurant and consumer packaged goods markets.

This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who thrives in complex sales environments and enjoys engaging senior procurement, supply chain, packaging and operations leaders. You will manage the full sales cycle (from prospecting and relationship development to proposal creation, negotiation and closing), while partnering closely with PacIQ’s subject matter experts to deliver compelling, ROI-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate brings strong business development experience, executive presence and the ability to translate operational and financial insights into strategic value for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and close new business opportunities within food processing, restaurant, QSR and CPG organizations

Identify and engage procurement, packaging, supply chain and operations leadership teams

Partner with RTi Executive Advisors to develop senior-level introductions and qualified opportunities

Expand and leverage Advisory Board relationships to support business development efforts

Build ROI-driven business cases and tailored value propositions

Position consulting and advisory solutions related to packaging cost optimization, sourcing strategies and supplier management

Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through agreement execution

Maintain accurate pipeline visibility, forecasting and reporting

Collaborate closely with internal packaging and operational experts to develop client solutions

Support smooth client onboarding and transition to delivery teams

Maintain and manage client/account records within HubSpot CRM

Contribute to marketing initiatives, social media content and brand awareness efforts within target industries

Represent PacIQ at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience selling consulting or advisory services into senior-level management

Proven success in B2B business development, consultative sales and managing complex sales cycles

Experience selling into procurement, sourcing, supply chain or operations functions

Strong executive-level communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Ability to develop customized, ROI-focused sales presentations and business cases

Demonstrated ability to identify client challenges and position measurable, value-based solutions

Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

Self-motivated professional with a growth-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills

Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and sales reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in packaging, packaging procurement, cost optimization or strategic sourcing

Background working with food processing, QSR, restaurant or CPG organizations

Familiarity with activity-based cost modeling or operational consulting environments
