The
Program Leader II
provides support to the Site Director and Program Leaders in creating a safe, healthy, and supportive environment during expanded learning hours at their assigned site.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
Support the Site Director in building a high‑performing site team.
Support Program Leaders to become successful and effective.
Create a physically and emotionally safe environment for staff and students.
Ensure every student feels known, accepted, valued, and respected; communicate in ways that build and maintain trust.
Site Support
Maintain awareness of program goals and processes.
Understand State and Federal grant requirements.
Support the Site Director in meeting or exceeding grant‑mandated attendance levels.
Serve student snacks and complete daily/weekly snack attendance reports.
Ensure food safety and compliance with CACFP requirements.
Assist with timely completion of data entry, reports, and attendance.
Promote and maintain a culture of safety and well‑being.
Ensure activities are age‑appropriate, engaging, and exciting for students.
Demonstrate commitment to the ProYouth vision and goals.
Establish clear, consistent expectations for behavior and positive discipline.
Support the Site Director in setting and achieving meaningful goals.
Comply with the ProYouth Employee Handbook and all Policies and Procedures.
Build positive, professional relationships with coworkers, supervisors, ProYouth staff, site principals, teachers, and parents.
Complete responsibilities accurately and on time.
Perform related duties as assigned within scope of practice and training.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent
AND
48 completed college units
OR
A minimum of two years’ experience working with youth is desirable.
General Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass DOJ/FBI background check.
Must receive TB clearance.
Must have a valid California Driver’s License.
Must provide proof of auto insurance and be listed as an insured driver on the policy.
