Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field required. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field preferred. Two years of relative experience preferred. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

Medical and dental insurance 100% paid by City for the employee; City pays 90% of dependents medical (for base plan) and dental insurance with employee paying 10%; Employee covered by $10,000 life insurance policy; Retirement: Texas Municipal Retirement System 2 to 1 match with employee contributing 7% and City 14%; 12 paid holidays; 15 annual sick days. After 1 year of employment, 2 weeks of paid vacation, and earn longevity pay of $4.00 per month for each year of service. Educational and Certification Incentive Pay for those who qualify.
