The Business Development Manageris responsible fordriving revenue growth byidentifyingnew business opportunities and expandingthe American Society for Nondestructive Testing’s(ASNT)market presence through a consultative, relationship-driven approach. Leading the shift away from a traditional transactional selling paradigm, this role focuses on co-creating integrated solutions that address the specific, individual goals of our prospects and clients.

The Business Development Manageris responsible foridentifyingand pursuing businessopportunitieswith current clients, building new client relationships, and expanding theASNT’smarket presencewithin the nondestructive testing (NDT) industryby driving revenue growth.The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable, strategic thinker withstrong communicationskills who can seamlessly translate client needs into measurable business value. By deeply understanding our clients' business models, budgets, andobjectives, the Manager will elevate ASNT from a standard service vendor into a trusted strategic partner

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full sales lifecycle: outreach, discovery, proposal development, and deal closing

Work with departmental leaders to bring creative solutions to prospective clients

Create an effective process and information flow between the business development team and other departments

Build and execute long-term sales strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth

Identifyand secure new business
etwork and increase penetration and sales within existing accounts

Build andmaintaina strong, qualified pipeline through proactive outreach and industry networking

Represent ASNT at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

Maintain a strong CRM recordin Sales Cloudand provide regular sales forecasts and reporting to leadership

Monitor market conditions and activities of competitivecompanies to ensure competitive pricing and provide feedback to managementregardingmarket opportunities

Maintain an active, well-managed pipeline by tracking outreach activity, deal stages, and revenue outcomes

Provide regular monthly reporting on KPIs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

5 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or account management

A provencloser andrelationship builder witha track recordof exceeding revenue targets in consultative sales environments

Highly organized and metrics-driven

Strong communicationand interpersonal skills

Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies

High degreeofprofessionalism, initiative, and strategic thinking

Focused and goal-oriented

We prefer that you have:

Experience in sponsorship sales, media, trade shows, associations, or other complex B2B sales environments is strongly preferred.

Proficiencyin CRM systems (Salesforce, Sales Cloud, Nimble) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Curiosity and motivation to develop an in-depth understandingoftheclient'sneeds.
